Position: Geophysicist - Mining & Energy

Location: Calgary, Alberta (must reside locally)

We are expanding our Calgary-based team and are seeking a Geophysicist - Mining & Energy who is passionate, driven, and ready to take their career to the next level.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a core member of our technical team, you'll lead and contribute to a range of exciting projects across both mining and energy geophysics:

Business Development

: Drive growth through strategic proposal writing, client engagement, and support for marketing and sales activities.

Project Management

: Plan and execute geophysical projects (multiple methods) from start to finish.

Field Acquisition

: Lead and supervise field programs both in Canada and internationally--including challenging environments such as remote regions, arctic conditions, and underground operations.

Data Analysis

: Process, interpret, and report geophysical data with clarity and precision.

Client Liaison

: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related discipline (required);
Master's degree (preferred)

Minimum 8 years of experience in applied geophysics within the mining and/or energy sectors At least 4 years in business development or client-facing roles Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Geo or P.Geoph.

Required Skills:

Excellent spoken and written English

communication skills (essential) Strong industry connections with both junior and major resource companies Demonstrated leadership in both field and office-based environments Strong organizational and analytical abilities Ability to travel nationally and internationally for field assignments Must hold a valid driver's license Must reside in the Calgary area

Pay: $74,388.15-$159,052.49 per year
