Job Summary



IsoEnergy is looking to fill the role of Contract Geologist, reporting to the Project Geologist, to assist in our summer field operations in Northern Saskatchewan. The role is field based with an initial four-month term (January to April, 2026) and a possibility of extension. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to:

Engaging in geological work including core logging, sample collection, GPS surveying of drill hole collars, and compiling and interpreting geoscience data.

Completing drill hole radiometric (gamma) surveys.

Collecting and reporting technical, operational and safety data and records.

Hiking through potentially difficult terrain to spot holes, collect soil samples, deploy geophysical equipment, flag trails, etc.

Ensuring safety protocols are being followed by yourself and those around you.

Inspecting drill sites and other work sites

Requirements



Legally able to work in Canada.

B.Sc. in Geology (or similar) or entering the final year of a B.Sc. program in Geology (or similar).

Able to communicate fluently in written and spoken English.

Committed to working safely in an environmentally responsible manner.

Willing to regularly work up to three week shifts in remote exploration camps. Occasional longer shifts may be required.

Willing to work in situations where handling radioactive drill core may be required.

Willing to fly in helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

Willing to work outside in inclement weather.

Workdays in the field average 10 to 13 hours but must be willing to work extended and irregular hours, e.g. for drill hole surveys on night shift.

Able to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. (e.g. moving drill core boxes).

Able to walk for extended periods in rough terrain while carrying up to 50 lbs. of equipment.

Able to stand for extended periods in the core shack. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Valid Class 5 Drivers License.

Previous experience in field based mineral exploration is an asset.

Uranium exploration and core logging experience are assets.

First Aid training and PAL Firearms Certification are assets.

Experience with geological software and databases is an asset.

Field rotations are determined closer to the time of mobilization and shifts are generally three to five weeks in the field followed by a break.

Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewan's North.

Pay: $300.00-$500.00 per day
