The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge genomic research projects aimed at understanding genetic variations and developing innovative therapeutic solutions. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Conduct genomic research to identify genetic factors associated with diseases. \xc2\xb7 Analyze genetic data using bioinformatics tools and software. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformaticians, clinicians, and data scientists. \xc2\xb7 Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present them at scientific conferences. \xc2\xb7 Supervise and mentor junior researchers. \xc2\xb7 Apply for research grants and manage project budgets. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Ph.D. in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Strong background in molecular genetics and genomic technologies. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in bioinformatics and statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python). \xc2\xb7 Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) and other high-throughput techniques. \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Proven track record of publishing in reputable scientific journals. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Experience in human genetics and clinical research. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of genetic counseling and ethical considerations in genetics. \xc2\xb7 Experience in grant writing and securing funding.
