What You'll be Doing



Performing Monthly, semi annual, and annual Generator services and load bank testing as per the CSA 282 requirements and performing repairs and diagnostics as needed. Knowledge and skills with pulling trailers is required but will train. Knowledge of Diesel and Gas engines required and those with Generator experience is preferred.

Work independently and alongside other team members to attend planned and emergency services.

- Perform routine maintenance and trouble shoot mechanical and electrical problems with standby generators

- Work on a variety of power generation, drive and electrical systems such as gen-sets of all makes, variable frequency drives, automatic transfer switches, e-houses, cogens

- All service work is communicated via online reports to be completed daily and relayed to managers

Requirements:



- Must hold a

valid driver's license

, maintain a clean driving record and be willing to provide

driver's abstract.

Previous experiance with engine and generator diagnostic and repair capabilities required

- Flexibility to work out of town as needed

- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills (English)

- Computer proficiency with a strong knowledge of MS Office and social media tools (texting, Teams, Outlook etc.)

- Occasional, project-based travel expected with mutual consideration toward work/home life balance

- Eventual inclusion into after hours ON CALL rotation; usually every 4-6 weeks

- Ability to follow maintenance program as instructed without deviation

- Note:

Police, RCMP Fingerprint or OPP chec

k may be required based on individual customer requirements but if you are qualified in most other respects, we will find room for you.

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Ensuring all

are followed and participate in regular H&S training as required.
