We're looking for talent with an experience with sports to create experiences that connect with football fans around the world to grow the love of the sport.

For this role, we are looking for someone to help build out our core development team - whether that be in our online team, career mode, presentation and cameras, user interface, backend systems, or many others. We are looking for engineers who are strong at analyzing existing code bases and working from designs. Bug fixing in existing features and the addition of new features will be the core of your experience.

This position is a 12-month contractual employment opportunity.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design to provide feedback and then create clear and estimable technical designs.
  • Deliver tested and high-quality technical implementations that meet design requirements.
  • Awareness of how implementation impacts performance and memory budgets.
  • Look for ways to increase team efficiency through tooling or workflow enhancements.
  • Contribute to core EA technologies in an architecturally sound way to enable collaborative development efforts.
  • Develop technical solutions for online game features.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in C++ software development.
  • 1+ years of experience working on Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo game consoles or other embedded systems.
  • 1+ years of experience with Visual Studio and knowledge of the debugging tools.
  • 1+ years of experience with source control systems will come in handy.
  • 1+ years of experience with scripting languages (Python, Lua) and interpreted languages. (C#)
  • 1+ years of experience with 3rd party APIs.
  • Knowledge of modern database technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols
  • Knowledge of client/server models.
  • Knowledge of good software programming practices.
