Overview


The Custom Cabinetry Carpenter is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality, custom cabinetry and millwork pieces for residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision craftsmanship, knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:



Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry, including kitchens, vanities, built-ins, and specialty millwork Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and project plans Operate and maintain woodworking tools and equipment such as table saws, jointers, planers, routers, and sanders Measure and mark cutting lines on materials accurately Fit, trim, and finish components to exact specifications Ensure that all cabinetry meets quality control standards and project timelines Perform on-site installation of cabinetry and millwork as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other carpenters to resolve design or build issues Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Minimum 3 years of experience in custom cabinetry Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications High attention to detail and craftsmanship Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with woodworking equipment Knowledge of cabinet prepping for finishing techniques (Sanding, Gluing, Filling) Installation knowledge with built-ins, trim, or other millwork Familiarity with cabinetry blue prints.

Physical Requirements:



Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs Standing, bending, and manual dexterity for extended periods Working in both shop and job site environments
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.34-$35.86 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
