Job Summary
This position will provide clinical nutrition services to inpatients and outpatients across various sites and within many program areas as required. This position will report to the Division Manager in the area to which they are assigned and maintains accountability to the Professional Practice Consultant for Dietitians for integrity and professional practice issues.

Occasionally lifts objects up to 25 lbs.
Regularly requires alertness to the health and safety of others (i.e. tube fed patients, clients with swallowing issues, etc. Advice provided to clients impacts the health and safety of a client in regard to reactions to food allergies or blood glucose levels).
Regularly there are time pressures and deadlines and often there is lack of control over work pace.
Regularly requires a high level of attentiveness for exact results and precision for renal calculations, tube feeding and calculating nutrition prescriptions.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent from a DC-accelerated university program and successful completion of a recognized dietetic internship program accredited by Dietitians of Canada is required.
Current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Dietitians (NLCD) is required.
Prior experience as a Clinical Dietitian is an asset.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
