About the opportunity\xe2\x80\xa6

As an integral part of the \xe2\x80\x9cwe can do that\xe2\x80\x9d operation, this position is responsible is responsible to effectively and profitably manage the sales department and operations of the business.. Specifically:
  • establish department objectives and pursue them through planning, organizing, controlling and measuring performance
  • provide leadership, guidance and feedback to help staff members strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
  • develop and implement strategic plans for optimized sales
  • review and improve operational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing departments and employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
  • develop, implement and maintain standard operating procedures and key performance goals
  • with the General Manager, prepare and manage the departmental budget
  • work closely with Sales Consultants and Finance & Insurance Managers, coaching and improving performance relating to vehicle and product sales, including vehicle trade-in opportunities
  • aid in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions, and monitor effectiveness
  • assist Sales Consultants in vehicle sales transactions
  • organize responsibilities with the Finance & Insurance and Lease Renewal sub-department staff members to ensure proper maintenance of all records and analyses
  • manage expense control
  • review departmental activity and daily operating report with Management Tean
  • lead the ongoing management, training and development of sales staff
  • recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives
About you\xe2\x80\xa6

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in vehicle sales and oeprational management, including:
  • 5 or more years proven experience as a Dealership Sales Manager
  • proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
  • proficiency working with inventory and customer relationship management systems (ie. OneEighty, DealerTrack)
  • 5 years experience developing and managing performance of a Team of staff
  • strong business accumen
  • Valid OMVIC and Driver\'s Licence in good standing
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
