This technician may also be called upon to support the team leader by coordinating certain inspections or work with third-party service providers, whom he or she may accompany as required. All tasks must be carried out in accordance with established practices and processes.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFacility maintenance activities :Service callso Respond to assigned service calls and follow up with the property management team.
o Contribute to improving tenant satisfaction by ensuring quality workmanship.Preventive maintenanceo Inspect and maintain systems, equipment and facilities that are not the responsibility of a specific trade.
o Coordinate contractor visits and accompany them when a third-party supplier is required.
o Where possible, make recommendations on system maintenance to improve the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program.
o When necessary, support the operations team in carrying out other types of preventive maintenance.Corrective maintenanceo As required, perform or coordinate with a third-party supplier troubleshooting and repairs to systems, equipment and facilities.
o Support the operations team, as required, in carrying out other types of repairs as needed.Administrative activities related to facility maintenance:o Receive, implement, track, monitor and report on maintenance and repair work in the work order management system, including progress and resolution notes.
o Record resolution data in the Maintenance Management Services database.
o Support the Team Leader, as required, in receiving inspection reports from third-party suppliers and integrating them into the database.
o As required, administer and monitor service contracts assigned by the Property Manager (inspections, etc.).Health and safety activities :o Support the team leader in coordinating and receiving work permits for various jobs.
o Report any incidents/accidents observed in accordance with the various procedures in place;
