Job Description

```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our medical team. As a General Practitioner, you will provide primary medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, conducting physical examinations, and providing preventive care. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of clinical experience and proficiency in electronic medical records software such as Med Access.

```Responsibilities```
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic medical record systems
- Educate patients on health management and disease prevention strategies

```Experience```
- Proven experience as a General Practitioner with minimum of 2 years of clinical practice
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Med Access)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection

Medical Degree Required and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) licensure. Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)

Some sponsorship is available for qualified candidates

CCFP or equivalent is an asset.

Full time 40 hours a week.

Fee for Service Collective Agreement, overhead split
