Enjoy a high standard of living with low housing costs and short commutes when you live and work as a *General Pediatrician* in Saskatchewan, the sunniest province in Canada.The (SHA) - Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan are seeking 3 full-time General Pediatric specialists for permanent positions. The start dates are flexible, ranging from January 2025 to August 31, 2025. Applications will be reviewed until March 1, 2025.The Department of Pediatrics is dedicated to providing exemplary health care for children, ensuring excellence in training of future pediatrics health care providers, undertaking meritorious research, and advocating for the health and well-being of children and youth.The positions, which are Academic Clinical Funding Plans (ACFPs), will include inpatient services provided at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital (JPCH)'s Clinical Teaching Unit (CTU), as well as outpatient services. A full-time position consists of 10 weeks of CTU coverage per year and associated call duties, and a mix of outpatient clinics, academic and administrative duties when not on CTU. Protected academic and administrative time are embedded within the position. Appointment with the University will be at the assistant, associate or full professor level.The new JPCH offers state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for children, mothers and families from across our province. Centrally located on the University of Saskatchewan campus, our new children's hospital offers neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, general pediatrics, pediatric emergency and ambulatory services. Maternal services include labour and delivery, antepartum and postpartum care.
