GENERAL OPERATIONS SUPPORT

General Summary

We are currently looking to hire a General Operations Support (GOS) worker to begin their career in the Aerospace industry. If you are good with your hands and have a curious mindset, this is a great place to develop yourself.

Primary Responsibilities

Ability to manufacture shipping crates, cabinets, and tube carts and be able to perform general woodworking and general maintenance for the facility. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs as required. Must be able to carry out the basics of drywall repair and painting as required. General Labour duties as assigned by Chargehand. Some Janitorial functions. Supplies pickup and stocking. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent technical training required. Minimum of 2 years experience as a carpenter, or "other hands-on experience" Preferably in a manufacturing facility. Must have previous woodworking tool experience with hand tools such as saws, routers, drills. Must be good with measurements and proficient in Shop math. Crane and forklift certification required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. High attention to detail, organized and is able to multi-task. A successful candidate must be willing to undergo CGP & ITAR security clearance

Pay: $27.19-$34.76 per hour
