Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery, contributing to overall productivity and safety within the workplace.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become significant problems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Assist in the installation of new machinery or equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in mechanical maintenance. Certification in automotive or industrial mechanics is a plus but not required.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
