Job Description

The El Furniture Warehouse General Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the store. The role is to ensure both staff and guests are the top priority and leave each day feeling appreciated and part of the team.

Main Duties:



Hires, trains, develops staff and has succession plan built for current staff.

Ensures company policies and procedures are taught to and followed by all staff.

Performance management of all staff.

Ensures customer service standards are maintained by teaching staff how we do the right thing by listening and anticipating guest's needs, going above and beyond, recognizing mistakes and taking steps to correct them, engages guests and creates relationships.

Overall management of the venue which includes hiring for fit, proactive hiring, new hire administration, accounting administration, cost controls, labour cost, KPIs, inventory and cash management.

Manages and oversees the FOH/BOH labour targets and scheduling.

Weekly sales forecast reported to Regional Manager and discussed in weekly manager meeting.

Manages repair and maintenance of the store within budgets.

Manages and tracks the QSA, Spill and Void tabs

Knowledge I must have:



A strong working knowledge of BC liquor licensing laws and Health and Safety regulations and company policies, Thorough understanding of store performance targets

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
