Position Summary
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, strategic direction, and financial performance of SilkStart Technology Inc. This role requires a results-driven leader with strong business acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. The General Manager will report directly to the Board of Directors/CEO (depending on structure) and play a key role in scaling the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company goals and drive sustainable growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage departmental teams (sales, marketing, product, technology, customer success, and operations).
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure profitability and compliance. - Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments for expansion.
- Ensure effective operational processes, policies, and systems are in place to support company growth and scalability.
- Champion customer-focused strategies to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to maintain SilkStart's competitive edge.
- Represent the company to stakeholders, clients, investors, and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience, ideally within the technology or SaaS sectors.
- Strong understanding of technology-driven business models and digital transformation.
- Proven experience driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-moving and evolving environment.

Pay: $125,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
