Job Description

Avenue Restaurant & Bar is seeking a passionate and driven General Manager to lead our front-of-house team and uphold our reputation for refined yet approachable dining and expertly crafted cocktails.

This is more than a management role; it's an opportunity to shape a service culture rooted in excellence, creativity, and connection. You'll work closely with ownership, the Head Chef, and the Bar Manager to ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Culture

Recruit, train, and mentor FOH staff with a focus on service standards and product knowledge. Foster a positive and accountable workplace culture. Lead pre-shift briefings and tastings to keep staff informed and engaged.
2. Guest Experience

Lead service with presence, stepping onto the floor when needed. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care. Drive excellence in every shift.
3. Operational & Financial Oversight

Manage FOH scheduling, payroll, and supplier coordination. Monitor P&L, control COGS and labor, and meet monthly targets. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and cleanliness regulations.
4. Collaboration

Work closely with the Bar Manager, Head Chef, and Managing Partner to coordinate smooth daily operations.
What We're Looking For

2+ years in an FOH management role, preferably in an upscale or high-volume setting. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Passion for hospitality and commitment to guest satisfaction.
