We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, and leading a team to achieve business goals. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. 40 hours/week
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant management including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
Help with developing seasonal menus.
Manage POS systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Supervise staff, providing training and support to ensure excellent customer service.
Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed.
Develop and implement operational policies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes for supplies.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
Create and maintain a positive online presence.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Strong background in food handling, preparation, and kitchen operations.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Familiarity with Touch Bistro POS systems is preferred; experience with cash handling is essential.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
Prior experience in hotel or restaurant settings is a plus.
