At the Heart & Crown, the GM is responsible for the success of the pub. This means ensuring guests receive the best possible experience provided by our FOH and BOH staff alike. The GM motivates and inspires all staff members to work together as a team and feel driven by each other be their best selves. They make strides in ensuring their pub is not only meeting the mission and vision of the company, but seeking out new, creative concepts and ideas that apply to our continual professional development. Local community love, as well as up-and-coming knowledge in the food and beverage world is essential. Our GM is down-to-earth & caring, has a great sense of humour (see dry Irish jokes), and stimulates a work environment where all staff feel they play an important role in our growth as a family company.

Responsibilities:

Sets and upholds a positive, fair, empowering work environment for all employees within the restaurant Anticipates staffing needs and recruits accordingly. Provides regular feedback for all staff, so they're clear on what they do well and where they could improve. Prepares, plans for and thoroughly understands labour and inventory. Control cash as well as adhere to cash handling and reconciling policies and procedures. Works with the Head Office to ensure the standards of all H&C locations are being met. Proactively shares ideas/feedback with the marketing team about events & promotions. When issues arise, brings forth comprehensive solutions and answers.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
