Our client is a top tier real estate development firm that has ownership on some of the most exciting real estate developments in Vancouver Island, Burnaby, Richmond and Vancouver. ABOUT THE POSITION

As the General Manager for this portfolio, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be leading a small onsite team to ensure the operations of the portfolio is running smoothly. Some of the duties include but are not limited to:

• Create a unique atmosphere through innovative programming, community events, and collaboration with staff and tenants to make the property stand
• Assist with lease-related documentation and tenant billings, as well as head office personnel with specialty leasing to meet revenue targets and develop leasing and merchandising plans.
• Participate in regular property inspections and work with mall contractors to ensure proper functioning of the property.
• Assist with Health and Safety related matters, including WorkSafe BC compliance and reporting.
• Oversee property service contracts, conduct long-term planning for repairs and enhancements, and assist management with other duties and projects.
• Manage and supervise on-site administration, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Report any staff issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial summaries, and prepare monthly and quarterly property management reports for submission to management.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of property manager experience
• 3+ years of experience leading a team
• Experience with Yardi
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Rental Property Management License is an asset

COMPENSATION

• Salary: $100,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $110,000 (based on experience)
• Discretionary Bonus
• 3 Weeks Vacation
