The General Manager is responsible for driving branch success through sales leadership, vendor growth, operational excellence, and financial oversight. This role ensures that sales and margin targets are achieved, vendor partnerships are strengthened, and customer deliveries are executed with accuracy and timeliness. In addition, the General Manager oversees warehouse operations to ensure exceptional organization and efficiency, while also managing the performance of the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) team to maintain strong financial discipline.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Growth
Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, margin goals, and vendor growth objectives.
Conduct weekly sales meetings to review performance, set goals, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic plan.
Coach, motivate, and support sales staff to ensure consistent pipeline development and target achievement.
Work with vendors to strengthen relationships, expand product offerings, and improve margins.
Operational & Warehouse Management
Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring exceptional organization, stock accuracy, and efficiency.
Maintain systems and processes for timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
Ensure warehouse housekeeping standards are consistently upheld to support productivity.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve bottlenecks, improve workflows, and increase efficiency.
Ensure deliveries consistently meet customer timelines and expectations.
Financial Oversight (AP/AR)
Provide oversight of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team to ensure performance targets are consistently met.
Monitor AR metrics, ensuring average days outstanding remain below company targets.
Review AP processes to confirm invoices and vendor payments are managed accurately and on time.
Keep close metrics on AP/AR activity, reporting regularly to the CEO with insights, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Ensure effective management of the AP/AR team, holding them accountable to targets set by leadership.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
Conduct quarterly business reviews and goal-setting sessions with the CEO.
Develop and execute branch action plans to achieve or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Align branch strategy with the company's overall corporate vision and objectives.
Customer Experience & Brand Leadership
Foster a customer-first culture, ensuring exceptional communication and service delivery.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience and increase retention.
Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's values and reputation internally and externally.
Leadership & Team Development
Supervise, coach, and evaluate employees to ensure accountability and high performance across sales, warehouse, and AP/AR functions.
Provide recommendations to the CEO on employee development and personnel changes when necessary.
Lead by example, creating a positive, disciplined, and performance-driven culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Finance, Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
2-5 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, operations, and/or financial management.
Proven ability to achieve sales, margin, and vendor growth targets.
Experience overseeing financial processes, including AP/AR team management.
Strong operational knowledge of warehouse processes and logistics.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient with ERP/CRM systems and business productivity tools.
