Will be a proven leader with a passion for the craft beer, wine and spirits industry
Has experience in coaching, training, managing and scheduling
Possesses a positive attitude and can energize a team
Is an effective communicator with the ability to share knowledge with our team and our guests
Is the ultimate team player
Has the ability to create a 'wow' experience for our guests and coaches others to do the same
Embodies the JAK's values of Caring, Learning, Integrity, Hospitality.
Wine Knowledge of WSET 2 or WSET 3 is an asset
Key Responsibilities
Ensure JAK's brand promises are consistently delivered: Unique product selection, outstanding service, unmatched in-store experience.
Facilitate a fun work environment by bringing a fun energy to work to energize the team and inspire others to do the same.
Assist in leading and managing a team of customer service/sales specialists
Develop successful people by providing training, mentoring and coaching to the team.
Ensure all JAK's standards are met and exceeded, resulting in an outstanding retail experience.
Participate in the hiring process through collaboration with the store manager and/or Human Resources
Communicate and achieve the budgeted key performance indicators for your team
Create and implement customer-focused business strategies
Participate in the performance management process and conduct regular performance reviews
