The General Manager will be responsible for in-store operations of a busy pizzeria with an including managing staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise operations, including food preparation, cooking, and customer facing processes
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure excellence in compliance with food safety, sanitation and corporate standards
Manage POS systems and third party delivery apps for order processing and cash handling
Recruit, interview, train, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team with strong customer service skills
Supervise all team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent guest experiences in a high traffic,
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs to maximize profitability
Ensure adherence to corporate hospitality standards, including food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Adhere to corporate policies related to food safety, health regulations, and hospitality best practices
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of quality ingredients and supplies
Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and professional growth
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management
Strong background in food preparation and food industry standards
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast; cash handling experience required
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen procedures
Leadership qualities with experience in team management, interviewing potential staff, and training new employees
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction
