Job Description

The general manager at Mill Town Roasters is someone who has a passion for customer service, is eager to either expand their coffee knowledge or dive into the coffee culture. The general manager must be organized, able to take

and

give directions both to staff and to customers. This is someone who has a positive attitude, can work well in team settings and is eager to bring new ideas to the table.

Responsibilities

include

:

Opening the cafe- this includes setting tills up, morning baking (therefore must be able to work an oven, understand food safety, keeping clean work stations, and delegating jobs to other staff members).

Responsible for daily orders (this includes ordering from food service providers, sister companies, detergant companies).

Accepting invoices, finalizing brown bags, daily payroll, counting tills, dividing tips to other employees, nightly deposits)

This individual must be able to work on their feet for long hours in a busy cafe and maintain positive attitude throughout the day.

Flexible hours for time off, which allows for a healthy work/life balance.

Must be able to work at least 40/hrs a week, must be

able

to work, but

not expected

to work all holidays.
