SUMMARY




Under broad supervision of Chief Executive Officer, the Managing Director is responsible for maximizing motorcycle units and PG&A sales, the marketing plans, and the profitability of the organization in the Canadian market. Oversees the organization's daily sales, marketing operations, and acts as the communication point of contact for the company in public at internal and external events. Maintain active communication and alignment with executives of North American Inc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Leads KTM Canadian subsidiary business. Develops and implements strategic plans in alignment with VPs'. Monitors performance of Canadian subsidiary, builds and maintains an effective team of local professionals. Keep the North American executive management team up to date with business developments in the Canadian market; reports on actual/target comparison/KPI progress. Daily communication with the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, and HR departments. Manages all aspects of Canadian budget and works closely with Finance department. Drives profitability of the business in Canadian operations. Assumes accountability for company operations, while directly responsible for day-to-day decisions. Identifies risks and ensures appropriate strategies are in place. Represents all of the company's brands in Canada and represents the company in the best light possible; works within a multi-brand environment and collaborates closely with Marketing. Develops and maintains relationships with related associations, industry, and government agencies and officials that are in the best interest of the company. Initiates campaigns and lead promotional activities. Keeps abreast of products, market conditions, competitive activities, and industry trends. Responsible for supervisory duties including hiring, firing, scheduling, timecard approvals, performance evaluations, coaching, training, disciplinary actions, task assignment, goal setting and team meetings/communications. Provides guidance, professionally develops, and empowers direct reports, while ensuring workflow and processes are to maximum efficiencies for business necessities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Generally, requires a minimum of five to ten (5-10) years of experience in sales and marketing within the motorcycle or power sports industry. Prior management experiences is required. Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field required.
