We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead operations at our restaurant. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day activities, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving the business toward continued growth and profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage staff, maintain operational standards, and foster a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including dining, kitchen, inventory, and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and local licensing requirements.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate supply orders to ensure smooth inventory flow.
May be required to travel to a different restaurant location from time to time as required to ensure continuity of business
2. Staff Leadership & Development:
Hire, train, and manage a team of servers, kitchen staff, and support staff.
Schedule staff shifts, monitor performance, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure staff
development and motivation.
3. Customer Experience:
Ensure exceptional service quality by training staff on customer service best
practices and monitoring service standards.
Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to maintain high satisfaction
and resolve any issues.
4. Financial Management:
Monitor and control operational expenses, labor costs, and food waste to maintain
profitability.
Analyze daily sales reports, manage budgets, and forecast revenue to set financial
goals.
Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality service and food
standards.

5. Menu & Quality Control:
Work with the kitchen team to ensure menu items meet quality standards.
Monitor portion control, food presentation, and preparation to ensure consistent
quality.
Qualifications
:
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a
small business or casual dining setting.
Skills
:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Solid understanding of restaurant financials, including budgeting and profit/loss
management.
Superior communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
Knowledge
: Familiarity with local health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Education
: A degree or certification in hospitality management, business administration, or related field is a plus, but not required.
Certifications
: Food Handling Certificate, CPR and First Aid Certificate is a plus
