Job Overview
At Kinton Ramen the general manager is a very hands on position, often working on the line, making ramen and serving guests as necessary. Kitchen experience or the willingness to learn is necessary
The General Manager is the restaurant's most senior leader and is responsible to develop and facilitate the required capabilities to deliver results at their restaurant. The General Manager plans and directs all restaurant day-to-day operations and is accountable for key financial and performance measures, including sales, service recovery, health & safety, cleanliness inspections, guest experience, and employee engagement & retention.
Create detailed operational and strategic plans that align with company goals.
Scheduling, team building and leadership
Execute and follow through on all restaurant plans with measurable milestones and timelines.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of plans and adjust based on results and feedback.
Communicate all initiatives, progress, challenges, and wins with ownership and regional managers.
Operations Management
Direct and oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure consistent quality in food, service, and guest experience.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Manage inventory, food cost controls, and other key performance indicators.
Resolve service recovery issues quickly and effectively.
Financial & Performance Accountability
Monitor and report on financial performance including sales, labor costs, and profit margins.
Analyze data to identify trends and develop action plans to improve performance.
Hold the team accountable to achieve and exceed financial targets.
Leadership & Staff Development
Continuously improve restaurant performance through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on training of staff and other managers.
Foster a culture where making mistakes is okay as long as team members take responsibility and learn from them.
Lead by example with integrity, hard work, and a focus on service and guest satisfaction.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and development planning for all leadership staff.
Communication & Collaboration
Maintain open, honest, and proactive communication with ownership and regional managers.
Provide regular updates on operations, staffing, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
Encourage a team-oriented environment that values transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in a leadership role in the food and beverage industry, preferably in ramen or casual dining.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations and P&L management.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Passion for food, hospitality, and continuous improvement.

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
