Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full time person to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for indoor and outdoor work such as snow removal in winter, lawn cutting in summer, landscaping, assisting in fence repairs, some painting, flooring, cleaning and doing as needed a variety of in home repairs, while ensuring everything operates efficiently and safely. Opportunity to advance to team leader. Wage dependent on skills and experience. CSA work boots required.

Responsibilities

Check in daily for list of duties as some dependent on weather or priority of work order request. Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations as needed. Operate heavy equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks. Irrigate gardens and landscapes effectively, ensuring proper water distribution. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs made and parts used. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required during maintenance projects. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, or quick learner. Strong time management and customer service skills. Experience in using a tractor with snow-plow/push, ride on mower and garden equipment is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively. Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating dimensions as needed. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards in all maintenance activities. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to take initiative/responsibility and lead others with a positive mindset

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
