• Greasing, changing belts and rebuilding the crushers and pulverizes as required
• General building maintenance- maintaining all HVAC systems, changing filters, belts and greasing
• Maintaining the scrubber system
• Maintain the compressors
• Minor Repairs i.e. replacing light bulbs, plumbing
• Assist in sample preparation i.e. sorting or sieving soils as required
• Working with light industrial equipment
• Yard maintenance - i.e. cutting the grass, removing weeds, maintaining the outdoor appearance
• Any other tasks assigned directly or indirectly by the department manager or supervisor

Other Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined
• Quality driven, motivated and pro-active
• Demonstrate initiative, reliability and common sense
• Ability to multi-task
• Read, understand and follow work instructions in safely and accurately
• Proven time management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent eye-hand co-ordination
• Ability to work well independently and with others
• Ensures full compliance with the company's Health & Safety and Professional Conduct Policies
• Own transportation required
