Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Handyman to join our Wellings team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform a variety of routine maintenance tasks across our facilities. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform general repairs and routine maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks o Wall building and repairs o Repair or replace fixtures, doors, windows, flooring, and drywall Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation o Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Work independently or with contractors when needed for larger repairs o Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times Other duties as required

Qualifications

Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a similar role Working knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical o Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred o Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed Positive attitude and great work ethic

Physical Requirements:

Comfortable with working indoors and outdoors. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to complete physically demanding duties, including but not limited to standing for long periods and repetitive movements.

Preferred Skills:

Basic carpentry or construction background Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints Good communication and customer service skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
