Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and reliable

General Labourer

to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have basic construction site experience and be comfortable using hand and power tools. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in contributing to high-quality building projects.

Responsibilities

Perform general labour duties including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting trades. Operate basic power tools, hand tools, and small equipment safely and effectively. Support carpenters, installers, and other trades as directed. Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized jobsite. Assist with setup, installation, and dismantling of temporary structures (fencing, hoarding, scaffolding, etc.). Report any site hazards, damaged tools, or unsafe conditions to the Site Supervisor. Equipment Operation Tickets ( i.e. Telehandler, Manlift ) are an Assets and will be compensated accordingly. Other Certifications are an Assets ( WHIMiS, Fall Arrest, Confined Space )

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of general construction or labour experience is preffered.

Skills

Basic knowledge of construction site operations. Ability to use common power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders). Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (asset but not required)

Certifications ( Preferred )

Valid WHMIS, Fall Protection, or First Aid certifications. Valid driver's license with an vehicle is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
