Alstar is currently seeking experienced General Labourers for numerous projects at various sites throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Successful candidates will have experience in the O&G Industry.

Alstar Oilfield Contractors has been providing quality construction services to the oil and gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary and Leduc, with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the oil and gas industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication and modular construction services.

Requirements:

Reporting to the Site Foreman, the candidate will:

• Minimum Grade 12/GED
• 2+ years general labourer experience is preferred
• Show a proven commitment to Safety
• Excellent communication, attitude, collaborative skills and ability to follow directions
• Experience completing Field Level Hazard Assessments
• Ability to work out of town for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in inclimate weather conditions
• Assist welders and Journeymen
• Assist in some administrative functions
• Operate, use and care for the tools and equipment commonly employed on an industrial project
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs, be physically fit, work at heights, be agile and able to go up/down ladders
• Other duties as assigned
• Proven excellent attendance history
