Scrap Metal Recycling facility located in Langley.

Current Opening: Scrap Metal Processor (Full-Time Position)

Preference will be given to those within the industry and with labour experience

Our STARTING wage is $25 per hour WITH Extended Health & Dental Benefits

included after the first 90 days.

Wage can increase within a short period of time based on performance.

Current Shifts Available:

9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

9am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday

Please note: This work is conducted primarily outdoors (sun/rain/snow)

GENERAL WORK DUTIES:

Identifying and processing of various metals General customer assistance, including unloading of various metals Use of power tools such as chop saws/grinders/cutting torches Quality control/assurance during sorting/processing stages Opportunity to run equipment such as forklift, bobcat, baler, alligator shear General computer operation & data entry General cleaning/organizing/sweeping of work areas

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experience sorting Non-Ferrous and Ferrous Materials is an asset Experience operating a forklift or bobcat is an asset Experience operating power tools is an asset Currently residing in Canada/Local Fluent in verbal and written English Basic numerical skills Basic computer understanding Steel toed boots Reliable mode of transportation Physical stamina and strength Comfortable working outdoors Capable of lifting 40 lbs minimum Teamwork and communication skills Compliance with all company policies Safety conscious while performing all tasks Effort and enthusiasm
