Position Description
We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking individuals for our Labourer/Hydrovac Operator role in our Sudbury location
Must possess your own vehicle for transportation to and from sites
Must be clean shaven to meet PPE wearable requirements
Oversee daily monitoring of assigned projects
Keep tools, equipment, and the Industrial Services Shop clean
Perform power washing and high-pressure water blasting as needed
Handle industrial cleaning of both non-hazardous and hazardous chemical wastes
Assist with vacuum truck and plant operations when required
Participate in confined space entry and rescue for industrial service projects
Work in tight or confined spaces
Use a respirator or supplied air breathing apparatus while working
Perform tasks like shoveling, jackhammering, squeegeeing, scraping, and heavy lifting as needed
Operate various vehicles and equipment including pickup trucks, utility trailers, forklifts, excavators, and bobcats
Use aerial boom lifts and scissor lifts as necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Preferred 2-5 years of experience in industrial cleaning and maintenance
Experience in industrial environments is advantageous
Strong preference for experience with vacuum trucks, industrial power washing or water blasting, and the liquid waste industry
Previous experience with confined space entry or working at heights is a plus
Familiarity with respirators and supplied air systems is beneficial
A lift truck, scissor lift, or zoom boom certification is a plus
Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, and potentially weekends or holidays
A Class G driver's license is required; AZ/DZ license is an asset
Comfortable driving and maneuvering a pickup truck with a trailer
Must be friendly and professional, able to interact with customers on-site
Ability to multi-task, follow directions, and work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work in extreme heat or cold
Comfortable working at heights exceeding 3 meters
Required to wear protective gear, such as fall arrest harnesses, respirators, and Tyvek suits
Strong focus on health and safety practices
