BRENRIC CONSTRUCTION LTD. is a family oriented, culture-focused construction management company serving the Greater Victoria, BC region since 1983. We're looking for a Construction Labourer / Driver to join us!

The Construction Labourer / Driver position at Brenric is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.

This role is best suited to someone who likes to work independently and enjoys the freedom to manage their own time and tasks.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Arrive at Brenric HQ in Rock Bay, make yourself a coffee or tea and say a morning hello to your teammates. Check our labourer to-do list and then hit the road in the Brenric van.

Once in the van, you might gather materials and deliver them them to a project site (skip the gym, this part is a workout! Great for folks who love lifting and moving their body).

On some days, you might drive to a site and help out with construction tasks-- giving our (very kind, very warm and wonderful) carpentry team a helping hand.

You might then zip to another site and do a clean out-- filling bins and vacuuming up construction debris and then heading to the dump to discard construction waste.

Finally, finish your day with a little shop upkeep-- some light organizing and tidying.

REQUIREMENTS

Integrity
Professional and positive attitude
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Commitment to safety
Valid drivers license and clean abstract
Excellent communication
Some computer literacy (Particularly SmartSheet)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs

RESPONSIBILITIES

Picking up and delivering carpentry materials and equipment to job sites
Assist tradespeople on construction projects
Unload and carry materials at construction sites
Prepare construction materials
Clean out site from debris and discarded material
Discard materials at the dump
Clean and organize company workshop
Maintain inventory of tools, material and other items
