About the Role

We are looking for a permanent, full time

Yard Customer Service Representative

with

forklift experience

to support our Concrete team at our Leaside location located at

31 Industrial Street

.

This person will load concrete trucks with sand and stone and other aggregates with a font-end loader and maintain the yard. Depending on the day, they may also service customers in the yard by loading and unloading materials, support proactive movement of materials on the premises , be a spotter for trucks, and support the creation bags of aggregates.

Requirements

Must have valid forklift certificate

Front-end loader experience considered an asset Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills to work in a diverse environment Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills Able to work independently and as a collaborative team

Working Conditions

Monday to Friday starting from as early as 8:00 am and working into the evening - end time can be between 6:30 pm and 11:00 pm depending on customer demand Saturday started from 7:00 am and finishing between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm or later depending on customer demand Rotating day off Depending on season or business needs, may be asked to start at 6:15 am during busiest season Overtime Interaction with customers/clients, and the public at large Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 80-100 lbs. Extended periods of standing Hazards associated with conducting work outdoors (sun, rain, wind, snow, etc.) High noise levels Regular exposure to conditions including heat, humidity, and dust Repetitive work Use of required personal protective equipment -

must have safety boots (CSA Green triangle patch and CSA White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega - ?) in good condition
