We're looking for a General Labourer to join our team, specializing in underground conduit installation and wiring. If you're a hard-working, reliable individual with proven experience in this specific area, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities

Underground Conduit Installation: Precisely laying, assembling, and securing various types of PVC conduit in trenches, ensuring proper slopes and depths. Wire and Cable Pulling: Running and pulling electrical wires, fiber optic cables, or other necessary wiring through installed underground conduit systems. Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and organizing tools, equipment, and materials on the job site. General Site Labour: Performing various physical tasks as needed, including site clean-up, assisting skilled tradespeople, and following all safety protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements

Proven Experience (Mandatory): Hands-on experience installing underground electrical or communication conduit and successfully pulling wires/cables through them. Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of trenching, excavation, and electrical safety procedures is essential. Valid safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS) are a plus. Tool Proficiency: Experience using common hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments relevant to trenching and conduit work (e.g., pipe cutters, glue, tape measures). Reliability and Teamwork: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a small team. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to various job sites.
