Position Summary

Bursey Contracting is seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to support civil construction projects in St. John's Metro. This role is well suited to individuals who are safety-focused, physically capable, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general labour and construction-related duties as assigned Use construction hand tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite free of clutter and debris Attend and actively participate in all safety meetings and tool box talks Ensure small tools are properly maintained, stored, and secured Follow all worksite safety rules, procedures, and company policies Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within established timelines Follow direction from Foremen and Superintendents Perform manual labour for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs Work effectively under pressure in a dynamic construction environment
Qualifications & Assets

Previous construction or labour experience considered an asset Fall Arrest, and Lift Training?certifications are considered assets Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Candidates must have their own transportation to and from sites

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
