Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within a warehouse or construction environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all items are accounted for Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders

Skills

Experience in warehouse distribution and management systems Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Proficiency in operating order pickers, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment Strong background in shipping & receiving processes Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties Familiarity with construction practices is a plus Proficient in reading and understanding measuring tools (ie: tape measure) Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.28-$22.00 per hour
