Dean Group's Manufacturing division is now recruiting for General Labourers for one of our reputable clients in Waterloo.
Job Title: General Labourer
Employment Type: Contract to Permanent
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour +$1 shift premium.
Shift: Nights; Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00pm
*Must be willing to train on days
Job Summary:
Seeking a General Labourer to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties include operating machinery, monitoring quality, and maintaining accurate production records. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned machinery according to specifications
• Load and unload machines
• Accurately track and record part counts
• Inspect parts using check fixtures
• Complete check sheets and scrap logs
• Report issues to the Set-Up Operator
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Both written and verbal communication in English
• Mechanically inclined with prior machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Strong manual dexterity
• Minimum of some high school education or equivalent
• 3-6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
