This position is responsible for the overall production operations of the Fast Pack and Small Pack lines as well as the toting line. This position will perform the duties assigned to them by the Production Supervisor based on the production requirements.
Specific Responsibilities
Fast pack line; operate automated bagger, placing bags in magazine, perform necessary quality checks
Operate the small pack line and perform necessary quality assurance checks
Operate the tote line and perform necessary quality checks
Keep production lines stocked with packaging materials
Health and Safety - follow all required health and safety procedures, rules and practices. Advise supervision of any health and safety concerns and report any hazards and/or incidents immediately.
Housekeeping - practise good housekeeping at all times. Perform housekeeping duties as required during downtimes or as requested by supervision including sweeping, tidying, repalletizing, storing, etc
Work closely with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Assist with inventory counts and monitor stock levels as needed.

Qualifications
Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility of at least 1 yr required
Ability to lift up to 55lbs on a regular basis required
Good command of the written and spoken English language required
Previous packaging experience is preferred
Ability to operate a forklift is an asset
