Construction Company with yards in Mount Albert & Pefferlaw. We are committed to delivering high-quality work while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our team members. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Construction Helper to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a General Construction Helper, you will assist in a variety of tasks to support our construction crews on job sites. You will be working alongside skilled tradespeople and equipment operators to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an eagerness to contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with loading and unloading construction materials and equipment. Prepare and clean work areas by removing debris and hazardous materials. Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other construction tools and equipment. Perform basic tasks like digging, mixing concrete, and carrying materials. Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with their tasks as needed. Operate basic construction machinery, such as forklifts or small power tools (training provided). Perform other duties as assigned by the construction supervisor or foreman.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
