Based in Nanaimo, B.C., Makon Projects is a locally owned, full-service general contracting company specializing in commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-residential construction projects across Vancouver Island. We are currently looking for a skilled labourer to join our growing team and contribute to the success of our exciting projects on the Island.

Makon Projects Ltd. is seeking a general labourer based in the Greater Victoria area to work on a project located in Metchosin. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks, including maintaining a clean and safe worksite, loading and delivering materials, preparing the job site, and supporting other on-site needs.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Load and unload construction materials and move them to designated work areas. Remove rubble and debris from construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment. Provide labour support for specialty crews as needed. Follow supervisor instructions to complete manual labour tasks. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and properly stored.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Familiarity with and experience using hand tools an asset. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 2+ years of construction industry experience preferred. Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.

Punctual and reliable Willingness to learn Strong communication skills Ability to lift 50lbs safely and consistently Can take initiative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
