Job Description

The Manufacturing General Laborer will be responsible for performing various physical labor tasks at a manufacturing plant while operating a range of hand and power tools.

Job Duties:

Prepare and clean work-sites to ensure a safe and organized working environment. Assist in the alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials by effectively signaling equipment operators. Perform maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools. Utilize abrasive tools or machines to grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces as needed. Load, unload, and properly identify building materials, machinery, and tools, distributing them to their designated locations based on project plans and specifications.

Work Conditions:

Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, demonstrating proficiency in their operation. Ability to lift and manipulate objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (e.g., safety boots) as required for the job. Work in close proximity to moving mechanical parts and in conditions involving heat, humidity, and dust exposure. Lift, push, pull, or carry objects Maintain excellent stamina throughout the workday.
