General Labourer

for the

Langley

manufacturing team. This position will report to the

Machine Shop Foreman

What you will do:

Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials Load and unload metal parts from fixtures and moves parts using hand truck or dolly Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools Read and interpret work orders Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes Perform other duties as required

Your qualifications:

High school diploma Crane & Rigging experience or certification an asset Ability to operate Fork Lift an asset, training may be provided General knowledge of basic tools and equipment

What you bring to the position:

Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Excellent safety record
