General Labourer Wage: $22 / hour Dayshift Mon-Thurs 5:30am \xe2\x80\x93 4:00pm Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. This position will report to the Machine Shop Foreman Why join our team?

What you will do:

• Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
• Load and unload metal parts from fixtures and moves parts using hand truck or dolly
• Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret work orders
• Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers
• Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices
• Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes
• Perform other duties as required

Your qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Crane & Rigging experience or certification an asset
• Ability to operate Fork Lift an asset, training may be provided
• General knowledge of basic tools and equipment

• Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
• Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent safety record
