JOB DESCRIPTION
As a General Labourer at Cityflats, you'll work closely with site supervisors to keep projects running smoothly. Assisting with a wide range of construction tasks and playing a key roll in contributing to a clean, efficient, and safety-focused work environment while supporting daily site operations, and on-site logistics.
This role is ideal for a reliable, and skilled construction or general labour who takes pride in maintaining the high standards that define every Cityflats project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with a variety of tasks across multiple trades as directed by supervisor
Operate construction machinery, including skidsteers, telehandlers, and man/material hoists (training/certification may be provided)
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and site tasks for different trades as required
Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
Support site personnel as directed
Traffic control and flagging
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in construction or general labouring is required
Knowledge of construction tools, techniques, and safety regulations
Ability to safely operate small machinery
Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry out physically demanding tasks
Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team
WAH, WHMIS and other safety trainings are required, but can be provided
Certifications for equipment operation (skidsteer, telehandler, hoist) are beneficial but not required
