General Labourer
Job Description
John Ross & Sons is currently seeking General Laborers to join our team at our facility at 6 Long Lake Drive in Halifax! As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our expanding team!
Primary Responsibilities:
• Cleaning equipment
• Maintain organized inventory and sorting materials
• Maintain clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned
• Manual labor involved
• Ensuring safety protocols are being followed
Qualifications and Skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs repetitively
• Ability to work full-time and in all weather conditions
• Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time
• Ability to take direction and learn quickly
• Steel toed boots
