We are currently looking for 10-12 individuals who are looking to expand their mechanical skills, in a dynamic and growing organization.
Description:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
- Gather all materials and equipment needed to begin the process.
- Take precision measurements to ensure the perfect fit of components.
- Prepare components by examining connections for correct fit.
- Verify specifications by measuring the completed component.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules, procedures and regulations.
- Align materials and put together parts to build more complex units.
- Maintain equipment in good condition.
- Report any issues, malfunctions or defective parts.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Equipment maintenance.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical inspection tools.
- Tooling.
- Quality focus.
- Decision making.
- Ability to use tools and machines.
- Understanding of quality control.
- Good communication skills; verbal and written.
- Must be adaptable to changing work environment, competing demands, and able to deal with change, delays or unexpected events.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
