Job Description
Our client in the NE of Calgary is looking to add to their Delivery Team! They are looking for a hardworking and dedicated team member, who is self-motivated to help transport construction products like drywall, steel framing, and roofing to residential and commercial construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Lifting and moving building materials of 50 lbs. repetitively
- Follow safe procedures with regard to lifting, etc.
- Assist the Delivery Driver with loading and unloading at various work sites
- General warehouse tasks as required
- Previous experience working in construction or with construction materials would be a definite asset
- Physically capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs. repetitively, as well as reaching, stretching, and bending
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work as part of a small team
- Great attitude and strong work ethic
- Steel-toed footwear is required
- Full-time hours and a permanent opportunity
- Regular day shift with a morning start
- Transit accessible and free parking
- Competitive starting wage with the opportunity for frequent OT
