Company Description: RedSeal Firestop Ltd is a rapidly growing firestopping contractor with offices located throughout BC, including Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria, and Nanaimo. Our services cover the entire province, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional firestop installation services to our clients. We are currently seeking new team members to join us as skilled installers, field supervisors, and project managers. : At RedSeal Firestop Ltd, we are committed to training and developing individuals who are interested in learning the firestop installation trade. No prior experience is necessary, as we are willing to provide training to candidates who have the right attitude and work ethic. Responsibilities: As a firestop installer, you will work as part of a team to install firestop materials, including sealants, collars, putties, sprays, and other materials. Your responsibilities will include:
- Learning basic firestop and construction techniques
- Safely erecting and breaking down scaffolding and ladders
- Assisting with unloading and carrying materials as needed
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Communicating regularly with clients, supervisors, and project managers
- Working independently with minimal supervision once trained
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good balance and eye-hand coordination
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable daily transportation to and from job sites
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
